Vitoria-Gasteiz’ historic quarter will host the Medieval Market from 28nd to 30th September.

More than 200 crafts, food and catering stalls will lend a great atmosphere to the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz, going back in time and turning the Alaves capital into a city from the Middle Ages.

As well as selling various products, there will also be blacksmiths, carpenters, glassworkers and bakers who will display the traditional methods of doing their jobs. There will also be plenty of street entertainment performed by jugglers, fakirs, acrobats, minstrels and there will be medieval tournaments, etc.

Animals will also play an important part within the Medieval Market. There will be falconry demonstrations and a farm with a multitude of animals: pigs, geese, exotic roosters…

In short, this is a perfect occasion to return to the feudal era and to immerse yourself in the everyday life from centuries ago.
