The medieval city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, will be full of light, a special atmosphere and joy in the more magical night of the year: ‘Candle´s night’, as it has been doing that for more than 15 years.

More than 15,000 candles and torches will light up monuments and corners of the the night before Christmas Eve. Squares like Matxete or Virgen Blanca, streets like Correría, Zapatería, Cuchillería and interesting places as Santa María Cathedral or Villasuso Palace will shine on their own.

As a complement to this, all those visiting ‘Candle´s night’ will enjoy a play with music, dance and fireworks, as well as mulled-wine samples.
